Syracuse Hospitality Holdings, LLC, East Syracuse, NY, US $18.00 To $19.00 Hourly Housekeeping Supervisor Join our team as a Housekeeping Supervisor where you will make a significant impact on guests' experiences and enjoy opportunities for growth. Responsibilities Ensure guest satisfaction by supervising daily cleaning of hotel and grounds per operational policies. Schedule associates based on forecasted occupancy and adjust staffing as needed. Plan, assign, and supervise daily tasks of housekeeping and laundry staff. Perform housekeeping or laundry duties as required. Conduct inspections to assess cleanliness and condition, follow-up on issues. Oversee additional cleaning programs. Ensure the team has necessary tools and equipment. Coordinate with maintenance for work orders and preventative maintenance. Manage lost and found. Coordinate room availability with front‑of‑house management. Maintain accurate records, logs, parts lists, manuals, and reference books. Monitor customer comment cards, identify problem areas, and formulate solutions. Maintain inventory levels, managing cost per room for supplies and labor; perform monthly inventory. Requirements Keep the immediate supervisor promptly informed of all significant problems. Perform duties in a timely manner following company policies and procedures. Maintain a favorable working relationship with all associates. Use management resources effectively and communicate regularly. Exhibit strong attention to detail. Communicate with guests and team members verbally or in writing. Work and interact with associates at all levels. Direct and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously. Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Project a favorable image of the hotel at all times. Open availability to work weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements Move, transport, and manipulate equipment and supplies. Stand for extended periods of time. Operate and handle various tools and responsibilities.
