Phlebotomist

Job Overview Phlebotomist – PAML Labcorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, is hiring in Renton, WA. Work schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm, with additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed. This role may also include travel to additional sites. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses. Enter patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Minimum Qualifications Valid Washington State‑issued Phlebotomy License. Preferred Qualifications At least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. At least 6 months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy. Additional Job Standards Alternatively, a phlebotomy license may be obtained at hiring through the WA Department of Health. A standardized color blindness test must be passed. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Benefits and Compensation Pay Range: $22.30 - $27.69 per hour. Quarterly incentive bonus program: PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan. Employees scheduled 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
