Labor and Employment Attorney

An established law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with a strong focus on Employee Benefits.
Key Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school and active Texas Bar admission.
- 6+ years of Labor & Employment experience, with significant Employee Benefits/ERISA experience.
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, COBRA, retirement plans, health & welfare plans, and deferred compensation.
- Experience advising clients on employment compliance, workplace policies, employee relations, wage & hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
- Experience handling employment disputes, litigation, negotiations, and regulatory matters involving EEOC, DOL, and NLRB.
- Ability to draft and review employment agreements, severance agreements, non-competes, and benefit plan documents.
- Experience with executive compensation and nonqualified deferred compensation preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and client-management skills.
- In-house counsel experience is a plus.
