Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1890 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have charge experience or be willing to learn and take on charge duties.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro and stroke experience highly preferred.

Special Requests: Block schedule requests are considered but never guaranteed. Up to 5 days of requested time off in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved; additional time off is subject to approval and must be made up at the end of the assignment.

Unit Details: Medical and surgical neuro patients, including Parkinson’s, stroke, and lumbar cases; no trauma. Uses customary equipment, including IV pumps.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week at the request of the candidate. Every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) unless otherwise approved prior to confirmation. Candidates should expect to work at least one major summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day) or winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day).

Floating Requirements: Will float to Med Surg and Progressive.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
