Principal Security Engineer

To support a growing cloud-native networking platform, the full-time remote Principal Security Engineer will shape and drive security strategy across various domains, influence secure system design, and lead complex security initiatives. Key responsibilities Define and drive long-term security architecture and strategy across cloud, infrastructure, application, platform, and operational security domains Own the bug bounty program, managing triage, severity assessment, and coordination of remediation with relevant teams Serve as a technical authority for Kubernetes, container, Linux, and cloud security, guiding security decisions across engineering organizations Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, infrastructure security, or cloud security roles Deep expertise in securing large-scale cloud-native environments and distributed systems Advanced expertise with Kubernetes security, including workload protection and container security Proven experience in threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews
