Property Manager & Assistant Property Manager
Tempe, AZ
️ Multifamily / LIHTC (Tax Credit) Community
A growing multifamily community in Mesa, AZ is currently seeking an experienced Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager with strong LIHTC / Tax Credit experience to join our team!
These positions are ideal for motivated housing professionals who understand affordable housing compliance, occupancy goals, resident relations, and daily property operations.

⚠️ LIHTC / Tax Credit experience is REQUIRED for both positions.
Property Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the apartment community
- Maintain LIHTC compliance and ensure all files are audit-ready
- Manage occupancy, leasing performance, and resident retention
- Supervise onsite staff and vendors
- Handle budgets, reporting, rent collections, and delinquency
- Ensure excellent customer service and resident satisfaction
- Maintain property appearance and operational standards
Assistant Property Manager Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily office operations and resident relations
- Support compliance paperwork and LIHTC documentation
- Process applications, recertifications, and lease renewals
- Assist with rent collections and account follow-up
- Provide leasing support and help maintain occupancy goals
- Work closely with the Property Manager to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous multifamily apartment experience REQUIRED
- LIHTC / Tax Credit experience REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of affordable housing compliance
- Professional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Yardi, Onesite, or other property management software experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- Some weekends may be required as needed
