RN, Med/Surg, Float 10a-10p

Our Med Surg unit is looking for a customer focused individual to serve our inpatients during their time of need. This position will float within Med/Surg, ER, and Surgery as needed. The Registered Nurse is responsible for all nursing care that patients of all ages receive under his/her direction within the scope of their practice. Assessment of the health status of a patient, identification of nursing issues, the plan of nursing action, implementation of the Plan of Care through giving and delegating care, and evaluation are essential components of professional nursing practice and are the functions of the scope of practice. It is the responsibility of the nurse to promote patient education and involve the patient and significant others in implementation of health goals. A current Iowa License as a RN is required. This position will require BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
