Senior Systems Engineer - AI Code Metrics

Salary: $149,400 - 235,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a strong systems engineer with a background in backend engineering, operating system internals, endpoint or agent software, or developer infrastructure.
• We value experience building production-grade systems that are fast, dependable, and unobtrusive for users.
• We prefer high-agency, highly accountable people with strong product instincts who care deeply about the developer experience.
• We want someone excited by developer tools and by using data to understand how engineers work with AI coding agents.
• We use Go, but a Go background is not required; what matters is comfort with concurrent, long-running, low-level software.
• Helpful bonus experience includes Git internals, developer tooling or DevOps infrastructure, endpoint or monitoring agents, SQLite or embedded storage, and cross-platform native development.

• We will have you build core systems that detect and attribute AI-generated code at line level across real Git workflows, including rebases, cherry-picks, resets, and similar operations.
• You will design dependable pipelines to capture, classify, store, and send developer and agent activity from the endpoint.
• You will work directly with Git internals, including reflog, commit identity across history rewrites, and blob-level attribution, while avoiding disruption to developers.
• You will build and maintain integrations with coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, Codex, and Gemini CLI through editor and CLI hooks.
• You will own cross-platform behavior across macOS, Linux, and Windows.
• You will contribute end-to-end to major parts of a cross-platform endpoint agent, covering architecture, implementation, and deployment on developer machines.
