ICU Float Registered Nurse

Trusted Health is hiring an ICU Float Registered Nurse to deliver high-acuity care across multiple ICU units. In this field-based role, you will float between medical, surgical, and specialty ICUs, managing ventilators, titrating critical drips, and monitoring complex patients using evidence-based protocols. You’ll collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, document in modern EHR systems, and adapt quickly to new workflows and technologies. Responsibilities Float between medical, surgical, and specialty ICUs based on staffing needs Provide direct critical care to high-acuity adult patients Perform comprehensive assessments and manage complex care plans Monitor hemodynamics, ventilators, and titrate critical drips per protocol Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams Document accurately in the EHR and follow ICU best practices and protocols Respond to emergencies and participate in codes and rapid responses Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and care plans Follow infection prevention and patient safety guidelines Adapt quickly to new units, workflows, and clinical technologies Critical care nursing ICU patient assessment Ventilator management Hemodynamic monitoring Vasoactive drip titration ACLS protocols Sepsis management Electronic health records (EHR) documentation Central line and arterial line care Interdisciplinary care coordination Qualifications Active RN license in state of practice ACLS certification BLS certification CCRN or other critical care certification preferred Recent ICU experience (medical, surgical, or specialty) Proficiency with ventilators, drips, and hemodynamic monitoring Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k #J-18808-Ljbffr Interfaco Ltd
