Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, creating a clear picture of their condition.

  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the client's goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

  • Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed in response to changes in symptoms or client feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The successful candidate will work primarily with clients facing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Many of our clients are navigating significant life transitions or traumatic experiences, requiring a therapist who can provide a therapeutic alliance built on empathy, active listening, and trust. Your role will involve guiding clients toward recovery while promoting effective coping strategies and holistic wellness.

  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory.
