The Vehicle Maintenance Tech is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company vehicles. This position supports the safe and efficient operation of the company's fleet by ensuring vehicles are maintained in accordance with company standards and proper safety regulations.Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements, keeping company fleet operational, clean and safe.Perform inspections and exercise proper judgement in resolving issues and making repairs.Operate a variety of power tools safely and effectively.Utilize strong communication skills to coordinate workflow with crew, foremen, superintendent and dispatchers.Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and maintenance documentationAssist in monitoring inventory levels of tools, parts, fluids, and supplies.Support other shop and fleet maintenance activities as needed.Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.Work in an outdoor setting which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity and exposure to dust and asphalt.Desired Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageAbility to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 poundsValid Florida driver's licenseBasic understanding of vehicle inspection and maintenanceKnowledge of small engine repairs is a plusSchedule flexibility and the ability to report to the Shop in WildwoodAbility to work independently or as an active member of a teamBenefits:Paid HolidaysGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO) packageMedical, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Insurances with employer contributions401K with employer matchLong-Term IncentivesSubmit your application by clicking on the "apply" button for the position desired.
