Dental Assistant

Job Description

The Dental Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting dental care professionals by preparing instruments, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting during procedures from Monday to Thursday. This position ensures smooth clinical operations and promotes excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment
Handle and prepare dental instruments for procedures
Maintain accurate patient charting and records
Assist dentists during various dental procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in dental assisting
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge of dental radiography
Understanding of infection control protocols
Effective patient communication skills
Familiarity with dental software
Proficiency in sterilization techniques
Ability to work collaboratively within a dental team
