Locum CNM (Certified Nurse Midwife) Ob/Gyn

This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality maternal and newborn care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Locum CNM, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive midwifery care, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum support. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional medical services. This role is essential in addressing the healthcare needs of our community and ensuring that families receive the care they deserve.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care to expectant mothers
• Conduct thorough assessments and monitor the health of patients
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients on reproductive health and family planning options
• Document patient information accurately in medical records
• Participate in patient care meetings and contribute to care plans
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards
• Assist in the training and mentoring of nursing staff and students

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing with a focus on midwifery
• Current certification as a Nurse Midwife
• Experience in obstetric and gynecological care
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in midwifery

CNM Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Annual Volume: 200 deliveries

Clinic, call, and OR coverage

EMR: Epic

Board certification is required
