Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Oxford, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat: 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM Sun: 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production‑adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to unusual activity and potential hazards common to an industrial location. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, employees, and/or first responders during incidents, drills, or operational disruptions while following post orders and client guidelines. Minimum Requirements CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
