Some Job Duties May Include: Transport clients to and from appointments, intake pickups, discharge drop-offs, etc. Be available to clients for questions and other assistance. Be highly dependable and can be counted on to work independently, with little direction. Complete and assist counselors with intake/admission procedures and orientation of new clients and co-workers. Encourage clients to achieve their goals by functioning as a positive role model. Participate in client recreational activities. Serve as a resource for clients through knowledge of services and opportunities in the community. Administer client medications and document accordingly. Support staff and director in decision-making. Position Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Free of chemical use problems for at least one year immediately preceding hire date and sign a statement attesting to that fact. Must be eighteen years old. Must have a valid MN driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Physical ability to perform the responsibilities of the position, including bending, stooping, sitting, walking, and lifting at least 30 pounds. Have, or be willing to obtain once employed, CPR and First Aid trainings. Additional Preferred Skills/History: Previous experience in the healthcare field (CNA, DSP, or history working in the addiction treatment field). #J-18808-Ljbffr
