As a Med Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients by accurately administering medication and providing exceptional care.

About the Role:

As a Medication Technician, you will be responsible for administering medications to our patients in accordance with our facility's policies and procedures. This will include reviewing and preparing medication orders, performing medication passes, and monitoring patient responses to medication. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our nursing staff to provide comprehensive care and support to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to patients in accordance with their treatments and care plans

• Review and prepare medication orders, including checking for accuracy and completeness

• Perform medication passes, ensuring that medications are delivered to the correct patients and at the correct times

• Monitor patient responses to medication, reporting any adverse reactions or changes to the nursing staff

• Collaborate with nursing staff to provide comprehensive care and support to patients

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication administration and patient responses

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Completed training program for Medication Technicians (Med Tech) or equivalent experience

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
