### Exciting Opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist in NICU! - **Unit:** 111-1000-11403 - Respiratory Therapist - NICU - Hemby - **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) - **Experience Required:** Minimum 2 years of experience with Pediatrics or NICU (not both). - **Charting System:** Preferred experience with Epic. **Certifications:** - BLS - NC state license (preferred) - NPS (preferred) - NRP - PALS - RRT **Preferred Skills:** - Medication Delivery Systems - Aerosol setup (mask and trach) - Professional Knowledge: - Basic EKG - Drawing and interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs) - Ventilator management (BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, weaning from mechanical ventilation) - Nebulizer therapy (cold, hand-held, T-piece, trach collar) **Work Settings Include:** - NICU - Pediatric Critical Care - Emergency Department - Pediatrics **Key Responsibilities:** - Airway management and suctioning (extubation, nasal and oral suctioning, tracheostomy care) - Oxygen therapy (High Flow Nasal Cannula, trach collar) - Monitoring patients in a variety of settings - Flexibility to float throughout pediatric units and floors as needed - Weekend coverage every third weekend **Patient Demographics:** - Neonates, Infants, and Pediatrics - Daily Census: 10-15 patients - Diagnoses: Pediatric and Neonate specifics **Special Procedures/Unit Details:** - Ability to work in NICU and PICU is **REQUIRED** - 50% - 60% of NICU & PICU cases daily **Additional Information:** - Orientation: 30 hours - Traveling Experience: 1st-time travelers welcome - Local candidates accepted - Scrubs: Not provided, BLACK only **Interview Availability:** Please provide your availability for interviews over the next 72 hours to expedite the process. ### Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
