Schedule Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Job Description We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Speech Therapy team in an acute care setting. This position requires proficiency in conducting swallow evaluations, speech and language evaluations, and dysphagia treatments. The ideal candidate will have experience with adult and geriatric populations, specifically in acute care environments. Candidates should be able to work independently and demonstrate strong patient advocacy and clinical strength. Responsibilities Conduct swallow evaluations for patients, including post-extubation assessments and evaluations for dysphagia. Provide speech and language evaluations and treatments. Demonstrate proficiency in Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Active Florida Speech Language Pathology License (No provisional licenses accepted). Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
