Job Overview
Search Solution Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate on behalf of our client, a leading wholesale designer. This on-site position plays a critical role in supporting the company's financial operations by managing complex accounts payable processes, vendor payments, and import-related expenses. The ideal candidate has a dedicated accounts payable background, thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and enjoys building a long-term career in AP while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Process wire transfers, ACH payments, and other vendor payments accurately and on time.
• Manage a high volume of daily email and Slack communications while prioritizing urgent requests.
• Research, investigate, and resolve vendor discrepancies and payment issues.
• Track and process freight, duty, and other import-related invoices.
• Calculate and allocate import duty costs to individual purchase orders and shipments.
• Process vendor prepayments, including time-sensitive requests tied to early payment discounts.
• Maintain detailed and accurate transaction records within NetSuite.
• Review transaction history and internal notes to ensure continuity across team workflows.
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve payment inquiries and discrepancies.
• Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and increase operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and internal controls.

Requirements Education

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant accounts payable experience will be considered.

Experience

• Previous experience in a dedicated Accounts Payable role is required.
• Experience managing high-volume accounts payable transactions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience processing wire transfers, ACH payments, and vendor reconciliations.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
• Experience supporting logistics, shipping, importing, warehousing, or point-of-sale (POS) operations is highly preferred.

Certifications

• No certifications required.
• Accounting or bookkeeping certifications are a plus.

Knowledge

• Accounts Payable principles and best practices.
• Vendor payment processing, including wire transfers and ACH transactions.
• Invoice reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
• Import-related accounting, including freight and duty allocation.
• ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Internal controls and financial recordkeeping.
• Logistics, shipping, warehouse operations, or supply chain processes (preferred).

Work Environment

• This is an on-site position based in Deerfield Beach, Florida .
• Remote work is not available for new employees .
• After approximately one year of successful employment, occasional remote work flexibility may be considered based on business needs and performance; however, this position is not designed as a hybrid or regularly remote role.
