Senior Controls Engineer

Compensation: $80 - $110 /hour, depending on experience Location: Boulder, Colorado Inceed has partnered with a innovative green energy start up company to help find a skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join their team! As a Senior Controls Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and building data acquisition and process control systems for chemical processing. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Design and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and control systems Own lifecycle of control system design from concept to handover Collaborate with engineering teams to define system requirements Lead integration efforts for PLC/HMI/SCADA systems Perform installation, configuration, and site acceptance testing Identify process optimization opportunities Program and troubleshoot Siemens S7 PLCs and Ignition HMI & SCADA Develop electrical design packages in SolidWorks Electrical Required Qualifications & Experience: 8+ years of industry experience in controls and data acquisition 3+ years of PLC programming experience Advanced experience with instrumentation such as voltage and temperature Strong knowledge of electrical design and industrial power distribution Proficiency with industrial automation communication protocols Experience implementing industrial electrical safety programs Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field Proficiency with Siemens S7, Ignition, SolidWorks Electrical, and SQL databases Experience in chemical processing or industrial manufacturing Experience with control panel design per UL 508A 3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insurance Voluntary and Long-term disability insurance Paid time off, 401k, and holiday pay Weekly direct deposit or pay card deposit If you are interested in learning more about the Senior Controls Engineer opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
