This well-established medical facility provides comprehensive palliative care services to the community, operating out of a dedicated outpatient suite. The facility fosters a collaborative and supportive environment, including opportunities to precept with residents and contribute to medical education. Opportunity:
Physician - Hospice and Palliative Medicine Job Details:
- Provide hospice and palliative medicine services in an outpatient setting, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no overtime
- Variable patient encounters per shift
- Opportunity to precept with residents for physicians who are willing to participate in medical education
- Active Virginia medical license required - no IMLC accepted
- Board certification required with minimum board certification eligible
- BLS certification required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
- Lodging accommodations available via preferred hotel list
