Single Stock Exotics Trader

I’m currently working on a confidential opportunity with a leading global financial institution for an Equity Derivatives Trader in New York.

The role sits within a sophisticated front-office trading environment, with exposure to equity volatility, derivatives and structured products .

The successful candidate will be involved in:

• Trading and managing derivative positions
• Volatility and risk management
• Pricing and execution of complex equity products
• Market analysis and quantitative modelling
• Developing and improving trading and risk tools
• Working closely with Sales, Structuring and other trading teams
• Supporting broader volatility and relative-value strategies

Ideal background:

• Experience within Equity Derivatives, Equity Exotics, Volatility or a closely related trading function
• Strong understanding of options and derivatives
• Quantitative and analytical skillset
• Experience with Python, VBA, MATLAB, R or similar
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced trading environment
