Licensed Commercial Electrician

Location: Middlesex County, CT
Pay: $48 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM Start
Employment Type: Project-Based / Contract

Position Overview

Empire Workforce Solutions is hiring licensed Commercial Electricians for a large warehouse renovation project in Middlesex County, CT.

We are looking for experienced electricians who can step into an active commercial project and work effectively as part of the onsite construction team. The work will involve a mix of electrical installation, lighting, conduit, wiring, and finish work throughout the facility.

About the Work

Electricians will work from project drawings and specifications to complete assigned installations throughout the renovation. Depending on the stage of the project, work may include layout and conduit runs, commercial lighting installation, pulling and routing conductors, making terminations, and completing other electrical installation work.

You will be expected to coordinate effectively with project personnel and other trades, keep your work area organized, and complete assignments with an emphasis on safe, quality workmanship.

Requirements:

• An active Connecticut electrical license is required for this opportunity, along with hands-on experience working on commercial electrical projects.
• Candidates should be comfortable reading electrical drawings and blueprints and have a solid working knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installation practices. Standard hand tools and reliable transportation to the Middlesex County project site are required.
• Strong attention to safety and quality of work required.
