This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, delivery, and pickup of roll-off containers at customer locations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating roll-off trucks, excellent customer service skills, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays as business needs require. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate a Class B CDL roll-off truck in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies. Deliver, exchange, and remove roll-off containers at customer locations. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation. Secure containers and verify proper placement at customer sites. Maintain accurate route, service, and inspection records. Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding service needs and schedule changes. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Report equipment issues, accidents, incidents, or safety concerns immediately. Maintain a clean and professional appearance of assigned vehicle and equipment. Provide excellent customer service while representing the company in a professional manner. Assist with other operational duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with acceptable driving record. Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred. Previous roll-off, waste, recycling, construction, or transportation experience preferred. Ability to safely operate hydraulic equipment and roll-off systems. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Ability to use electronic logging devices (ELDs), mobile applications, and route documentation systems. Physical Requirements Ability to frequently climb in and out of the truck cab. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb as needed throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and dust. Ability to safely perform duties in industrial, construction, and customer site environments.
