Senior Data Governance Manager

As a full-time Senior Data Governance Manager, the successful candidate will drive governance program operations, execute policy and compliance standards, and lead business glossary and metadata management in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Manage and maintain the Data Domain Model, facilitating the Data Governance Council and tracking program adoption metrics Support the development and roll-out of enterprise data policies, monitor compliance, and coordinate remediation efforts Oversee the operations of the Business Glossary, facilitating definition workshops and partnering with the data catalog team Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or analytics with a proven track record in governance programs Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK) Working knowledge of modern data stack platforms (e.g., Snowflake, dbt) Hands-on experience with data catalog/metadata management tools (e.g., DataHub, Alation) Proficiency in SQL for governance reporting and data quality analysis Virtual Vocations Inc
