Senior Manager, Commercial Packaging (Small Molecule)

Neurocrine Biosciences seeks a Senior Manager to lead commercial packaging operations for small molecule products. This role involves overseeing contract packaging partners, managing serialization compliance, and developing supplier strategies while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and contract packaging partners on packaging requirements and regulatory compliance
• Assess contract packager capabilities, identify gaps, and drive solutions for reliable product delivery
• Develop and implement serialization requirements for new products and ensure DSCSA regulation compliance
• Oversee contract packaging operations including schedules, budgets, performance metrics, quality, and delivery objectives
• Develop supplier selection, governance, and performance management processes with scorecards and KPIs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years pharmaceutical packaging experience, or Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years and prior managerial experience
• Direct small molecule packaging expertise in commercial-scale production
• Experience with serialization management platforms such as TraceLink
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects across cross-functional teams and external partners
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging operations and supply chain interdependencies
• Contract management and supplier performance evaluation experience
• Subject matter expertise to influence stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives
