Warehouse SupervisorThis position supervises the organization and daily operations pertaining to warehouse assignments and provides direction to subordinates guided by established policies and practices. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgement and overall quality and efficiency. Interprets and executes policies that affect warehouse staff. Monitors warehouse operations on a daily basis and actively assists or provides direction to warehouse staff as needed.Primary Job Responsibilities:Supervision of Warehouse staff (Material Handlers)Ensures the accurate receipt of all arriving goodsCompile and issue required reports including inventory, dead stock, goods age, consumptionMonitor quantity and quality of commodities storedCarry out regular physical random warehouse checks of commodities and inventoryMaintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding areaAssess the availability of space and prepare stacking/storage plans prior to commodities arrivalWork closely with Manager, Sr. Finance Operations to assure materials are received and inventoried in a timely, orderly and cost effective mannerSupervise the Shipping and Receiving department to ensure timely and accurate delivery and receipt of materials/product and accurate completion of Bill of Ladings and sign off of packing listsCommunicate proactively with the Director, Operations on materials issues that may impact the Facilities' ability to meet shipping schedulesEstablish proper stock levels to meet desired customer service needs and company policiesSupervise transactions related to materials availability and open order accuracyWork with Quality Engineer to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety Association (OHSA)Responsible for quality as related to job duties, and has the authority to address issues of quality at any levelEmbrace and support the 5 Core Values of Customer Focus, Talent, Excellence, Innovation and IntegrityAssists other duties as assignedJob Requirements:High School graduate or GED; and/or minimum three years of experience in assembly and manufacturing operationsMust have demonstrated leadership skills through experienceAbility to train and work well with othersExcellent communication skillsSAP knowledge is a mustPhysical Demands:The employee if frequently required to stand; use hands to operate basic tools, keyboards or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hearThe employee is occasionally required to walk frequently, sit; and may also be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focusCompetencies:Includes but not limited to:LeadershipEmployee ManagementCommunicationProduct ExpertiseProblem SolvingTeamworkRaycap, Inc., is an industry leader in manufacturing solutions for telecommunications, renewable energy, transportation, defense and other applications.
