Job Summary The Clinical Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on HMNMH’s policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements. The Clinical Registered Nurse is responsible for triaging, discharging, and caring for admitted patients in the Emergency Department. What You’ll Bring To The Team Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Critical thinking skills Problem solving skills Basic computer skills Competency utilizing Meditech EHR preferred Licensure And Certification Current California RN license Certification by appropriate governing body desirable (AACN, ANCC ) preferred Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider cards 14 hours of BRN approved pediatric emergency education every 4 years required; or Two day Pediatric Emergency Course preferred (not PALS) Current MAB certification Education Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred Experience Minimum 1 year acute hospital experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital
