Patient Registration Float Pool Team - East Morning /Midday

Job Description The Patient Registration Float Pool Team is responsible for providing excellent customer service throughout Inova Health System by identifying and fulfilling customer and departmental needs. Provides world‑class service to patients by filling vacancies within clinical departments. Travels to various hospitals and outpatient practices within the Alexandria, Loudoun, Mount Vernon, Fair Oaks and Fairfax areas as required. Responsibilities Support scheduling by conducting pre‑service activities such as insurance verification and submission. Troubleshoot individual admission issues in collaboration with other departments and/or team members. Explain insurance benefits and patient liability using appropriate communication methods/styles. Identify and communicate payroll authorization and referral requirements. Manage assigned work queues to ensure that errors are corrected. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: 2 years of healthcare patient access experience, or 2 years of customer service.
