Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Location: Leland, NC (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 05 Months
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• The Phlebotomist II (Patient Services Representative II) serves as the primary point of contact for patients and is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens for laboratory testing. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with established procedures.

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, and specimen collection procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Collect and process both clinical and forensic specimens according to established protocols.
• Verify patient identification and demographic information before specimen collection.
• Properly label specimens in the presence of the patient and obtain required patient verification/signatures.
• Prepare, process, and package specimens for laboratory testing.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a professional, patient-focused environment.
• Follow all safety, quality, and confidentiality guidelines.
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Travel to and support multiple Patient Service Centers (PSCs) and client locations as needed.
• Support process improvement initiatives and promote a positive company image.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).

• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience with Pediatric, Geriatric, and Capillary Collections required.
• Previous Patient Service Center (PSC) experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a healthcare, retail, or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard and data entry experience required.
