.NET Developer

Role Description

BDR is seeking a .NET Developer to join our growing team! This position will be performed virtually from the individual's home office working on EST time schedule. This position requires US Citizenship with a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one. (Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply)

The successful candidate will be able to work in a diverse SAFe/Agile, .Net environment with minimal supervision and constantly changing requirements. This position, and the candidate will be expected to provide team and technical leadership, communications, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software.
• Maintain responsibility for activities that range from software design, coding, unit testing, and orchestration.
• Participate as an active member of the scrum team, providing input to team velocity and sprint ceremonies, planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Information Systems, or other related discipline (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education).
• 5 years of experience.
• Experience in development of secure web applications using .Net 4.x Framework.
• Experience in C#, Webforms, MVC, Web API, ADO.Net, Entity Framework.
• Experience with web-service development, in SOAP/XML, REST, JSON, WSD, jQuery, Bootstrap, Ajax, CSS.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts, principals, and patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodology.
• Must be able to acquire a Public Trust security clearance.
• Applicant must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, DEVOP/CICD Pipeline, OWASP vulnerabilities.
• Experience with GITHUB or GIT.
• Experience in creating and maintaining SQL tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Experience with SSDT, MS SSRS.
• Experience in .NET Core Framework.
• Experience in SAFe Agile.

Benefits

• The salary compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000.
• Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
• U.S Citizenship is required.
• Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance.
• Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation including, but not limited to criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
