We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional preventive and periodontal care while delivering an outstanding patient experience. The RDH will work collaboratively with the dentist and clinical team to promote oral health through patient education, comprehensive assessments, and high-quality clinical care.

Pay

$75~$85 per hour

Job Description

Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and other dental hygiene procedures in accordance with state regulations.
Conduct comprehensive oral health and periodontal assessments.
Obtain and review patient medical and dental histories.
Take and expose high-quality digital dental radiographs (X-rays).
Perform intraoral imaging using intraoral cameras for documentation and patient education.
Conduct VELscope oral cancer screenings and report findings to the dentist.
Administer fluoride treatments, dental sealants, and other preventive therapies as permitted by state regulations.
Place Arestin® (minocycline microspheres) as prescribed by the dentist for periodontal therapy.
Perform periodontal laser therapy and TMD (Temporomandibular Disorder) laser therapy when appropriate and permitted by state regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, periodontal health, nutrition, and preventive care.
Assist the dentist in identifying oral diseases and developing treatment plans.
Accurately document patient findings, treatment provided, and recommendations in the electronic dental record.
Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards following OSHA and CDC guidelines.
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and dental equipment.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient care and a positive office environment.
Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring patient comfort throughout treatment.

Shift & Schedule

Hours and work days will be determined based on your preference for full-time or part-time employment. Candidates must hold a valid state license to practice dental hygiene.
