Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including complete physical examinations and meticulous reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results collaboratively
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide crucial intraoperative support by preparing the surgical environment, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently passing instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care across medication management, wound care, discharge strategies, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
