Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator to join our dynamic team in Parlin, NJ. The role involves the operation of heavy machinery for the movement of soil and other materials, primarily utilizing excavators and dozers. Expertise in using both CAT and DEERE controls is essential. In addition to equipment operation, you will assist your crew on the ground as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, including excavators and dozers, for soil and material movement.
• Utilize both CAT and DEERE controls effectively.
• Assist crew members on the ground with various tasks.
• Load and unload heavy equipment on trailers.

• Experience operating excavators and dozers.
• Proficiency in using CAT and DEERE controls.
• Ability to load and unload heavy equipment on trailers.

• 40-hour Hazwoper certification with current 8-hour refresher.
• Possession of a CDL Class A license is a plus.

Work Environment

Work as part of a small crew of 2-5 specialized team members in commercial remediation and drilling projects. Be prepared to work in various weather conditions, whether cold or hot. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, with the possibility of permanent employment based on performance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Edison, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
