The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Wulkuraka, Queensland.Key Responsibilities:Ensure the execution of maintenance activities on site in accordance with the contractual KPIsEnsure monitoring, analysing and reporting on-site system performanceEnsure the execution of first level of troubleshooting on site in case of issuesEnsure logs and dump files download from on-site equipment and provide first level of analysisEnsure monitoring of the day-to-day maintenance performance and provide technical reporting to the Client.Ensure the execution of on-site maintenance task ensuring the application of OHS and STS HSMS rulesEnsure the availability of local stock and repair process activationSkills & Experience:Electrical Trade qualification (i.e. Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician) is essentialBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field, including RPEQ, is desirable2-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the Rail Signal industry with demonstrated capability and skills in:Electrical equipment and high-risk environmentsUse of Test equipment (e.g. Digital and Analog multi-meters, insulation meters, etc.)Use of Computer based test softwareProficient with the Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of Incident/accident investigationKnowledge of ERP and Configuration Management toolsKnowledge of Database toolsAt Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
