Job Tittle: Quality Control Inspector - ManufacturingReports to: Quality ManagerPay range: $20-25/hr.DescriptionColonialWebb is hiring a Quality Control Inspector. Ideally the person in this role is a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI). This position is instrumental in ensuring all welding and mechanical pipe work meets required codes, standards, regulations, and guidelines. This position ensures quality compliance and actively contributes to process efficiency and continuous quality improvement. A day in the life:Conduct/supervise welding qualification testing in accordance with ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 requirementsWork with management and supervisors to instill quality culture throughout all departmentsMaintain welder qualification records using an in-house tracking systemConduct welding visual inspection in accordance with applicable codes and standardsCoordinate scheduling of non-destructive testing by outside contractorsDrive root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions for quality issuesAnalyze inspection data and generate summary reports for management / manufacturing teamYou should have:Experience with quality assurance / quality controlComputer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.A high school diplomaCertified Welding Inspector Certification and NDT Level II Visual Testing Certification EducationUnderstanding of product design, operation, and manufacturing processesKnowledge of ANSI/AISC 360-16 Specification of Structural Steel Building, Chapter N (Quality Control and Quality Assurance).Knowledge of ASME 31.1 & B31.9Perks of joining ColonialWebb:Competitive wages $20-26/hr.Career development and progression401(k) plan with company matchPTO and paid holidaysExcellent medical, dental, life, vision and disability benefitsEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee referral incentivesEOE M/W/Disability/VetsVeterans and those with previous military experience are encouraged to apply #J-18808-Ljbffr
