Job Opportunity – Pharmacist Inpatient – Hood River, OR 97031

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Hood River, Oregon

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts; Day shift (07:00 - 17:00) or Night shift (22:00 - 08:00); Weekend coverage required; On-call overnight hours as needed for patient care; Block scheduling

Highlights:

• Critical Access Hospital with Level III Trauma Center designation serving 25 staffed beds
• Reduced non-billable orientation – 0 hours versus standard 40-hour orientation
• Epic charting system in use throughout facility
• Average patient ratio of 1 pharmacist to 25 patients; daily census of approximately 20
• Comprehensive pharmacy services including Med Surg, Labor and Delivery, Outpatient Infusion, and Emergency Department
• Interdisciplinary team support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Rapid Response Teams

Requirements:

• Active Oregon pharmacy license (may submit with pending license)
• Current BLS certification and RPh credentials
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience required
• Inpatient/acute care pharmacy experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Skills required: Clinical dosing, Pharmacokinetic dosing, Therapeutic medication monitoring, Compounding, IV Piggyback, and IV push medications
• Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Reliable transportation required for this assignment
