Clinical Quality Director

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Salary: $115,000-$130,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Daytime Hours
Weekends: None

A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Clinical Quality Director to provide leadership across nursing, clinical quality, and performance improvement initiatives.

This position will oversee clinical quality programs, support nursing operations, promote regulatory compliance, and partner with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care, outcomes, and clinical processes.

This is a newly created leadership opportunity for an experienced RN who enjoys developing teams, building processes, and driving continuous improvement.

• Provide leadership and oversight of nursing and clinical operations
• Support nursing leadership and staff with daily operations, performance, and professional development
• Establish and maintain clinical standards and best practices
• Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Monitor quality metrics, outcomes, and performance indicators
• Conduct clinical audits and chart reviews
• Assist with developing and maintaining clinical policies and procedures
• Oversee infection prevention and control initiatives
• Provide education and training related to quality and clinical practices
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and patient care
• Partner with leadership on staffing, productivity, and operational initiatives
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, retention, and employee development
• Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to clinical staff
• Collaborate with providers and other departments to support quality patient care
• Participate in leadership and quality committees
• Support organizational programs and service development
• Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Previous outpatient or ambulatory nursing experience
• Leadership and/or management experience
• Experience with quality improvement, clinical quality, or compliance
• Previous supervisory, management, or director-level experience
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and clinical standards
• EMR experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Ability to build relationships across clinical and administrative teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
