Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid New York Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to enthusiastic new graduates
• Ability to work effectively with students across K-12 (caseload to be determined)
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering individualized and group therapy sessions based on student needs

Responsibilities:

• Manage a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week within a supportive school team
• Conduct speech and language assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and implement tailored therapy interventions
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary professionals to support student progress
• Document sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
