As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you will develop and grow your own practice while being supported by a branch team, home‑office team, and regional advisors. Key Responsibilities Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies. Deeply understand clients’ needs to accelerate trust and create personalized strategies. Oversee branch processes and ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience. Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan. Create a highly engaging environment of mutual trust, respect, and accountability. Skills/Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work‑related experience within the securities/financial services industry. Financial services and/or sales experience. Financial services registration, licensing, or certification. Professional and/or military career progression. Licensing SIE (which can be obtained without firm sponsorship); Series 7 and Series 66 will be required. FINRA registrations required within three months; state insurance licenses will be required. Ongoing training and CE requirements to maintain licenses. Compensation Compensation includes trainee pay, a supplemental salary for up to five years, and commissions/compensation for new assets gathered during the first five years.
