What You'll Do

• Provide scrub support for cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries, including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, and more
• Ensure aseptic technique and safety throughout procedures
• Assist with instrument reprocessing and equipment documentation using EPIC system
• Support team during trauma and emergency surgeries in a Level I Trauma environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, circulating nurses, and anesthesia team to ensure seamless operative flow
• Maintain sterile field and uphold best practices for patient safety

What You Need

• Required:
  • Certification as a Surgical Tech (CST) and BLS certification
  • 5+ years of total CST experience
  • 2+ years experience in cardiac and vascular procedures
  • 1+ year CVOR experience in a Level I Trauma facility
  • Scrub experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrumentation
• Preferred:
  • Experience with EPIC charting system
  • Flexibility for night shifts and call as required
