Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3+ years of acute, trauma, ED, and critical care experience for a night shift block schedule position at a multi-campus critical access hospital system.

Details

• Acute care setting within a critical access hospital system spanning four campuses (Bend, Redmond, Prineville, and Madras)
• Patient population includes adult critical care, emergency department, and pediatric patients; NICU and pediatric critical care experience highly preferred
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 18:00–06:30
• Block schedule
• Weekend coverage required at minimum every other weekend, with potential for more based on operational need
• Floating required across all four campus locations within scope of practice
• On-call is voluntary, not required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care, trauma, ED, and critical care settings
• Proficiency in adult critical care and emergency department settings required; NICU and pediatric critical care experience highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be able to work independently in a critical access hospital environment
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; proof of address required for consideration
• Prior travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services across acute, trauma, ED, and critical care units
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; maximum of 7 days of RTO permitted during the assignment
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
