Job Title: Material Handler Job Description

The Material Handler supports warehouse operations by safely moving, loading, and unloading materials, preparing shipments, and accurately processing orders using forklifts, reach trucks, and computer-based systems. This role involves standing for extended periods, working at heights, and using shipping and inventory software to ensure products are handled, stored, and shipped efficiently and correctly.

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and reach trucks to move, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, including palletizing products and organizing inventory in designated storage areas.
• Perform shipping and receiving activities, including preparing outgoing shipments and processing incoming deliveries.
• Use SAP and other computer systems to complete data entry, manage purchase orders, and update inventory records accurately.
• Utilize RF scanners to pick orders, track materials, and maintain real-time inventory information.
• Package and label products for shipment using carriers such as FedEx and UPS, following shipping guidelines and documentation requirements.
• Stand for the majority of the shift while performing material handling, order picking, and packing tasks.
• Work comfortably at heights when required for stacking, retrieving, or organizing materials on higher racks or shelves.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the warehouse, following all safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment goals.

• Comfortable working at heights when handling and organizing materials.
• Comfortable driving and operating forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models.
• Comfortable using a computer for data entry, SAP transactions, and basic system navigation.
• Comfortable standing for an entire shift in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with forklift and reach truck operation.
• Experience with shipping and receiving and general material handling tasks.
• Ability to use RF scanners for order picking and inventory tracking.
• Basic data entry skills and familiarity with purchase orders (PO).
• Ability to work with common shipping carriers such as FedEx and UPS.

• Experience with sit-down and stand-up forklifts is a plus.
• Experience with palletizing and organizing materials in a warehouse setting.
• Experience with SAP or similar warehouse management systems.
• General computer skills, including basic data entry and navigation.
• Entry-level candidates with relevant skills and willingness to learn are welcome.

This role is based in a warehouse facility where you will stand for most of the day while performing material handling, shipping, receiving, and order picking tasks. The environment involves working around forklifts, reach trucks, and RF scanners, and handling materials that may be stored at various heights. You will use computers and SAP software regularly to manage inventory and shipping information, and you will prepare packages for carriers such as FedEx and UPS. The setting is active and fast-paced, requiring attention to safety procedures and comfort with physical, hands-on work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LONDONDERRY, NH.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
