Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Seeking experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians to support manufacturing operations at facility in Oxford, North Carolina. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving a wide variety of industrial manufacturing equipment and facility systems to maximize uptime, safety, and production efficiency.

Technicians will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, support PLC-controlled machinery, and complete maintenance documentation while working in a highly automated manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot electrical controls, PLC I/O, and industrial automation equipment.
Repair electrical systems operating below 480V.
Maintain conveyors, presses, mills, mixers, pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
Complete work orders and maintenance documentation using CMMS.
Perform root cause analysis to improve equipment reliability.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance with all plant safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements.

Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education

Industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Knowledge of industrial electrical controls.
Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and PLC I/O.
Preventive and predictive maintenance experience.
Ability to troubleshoot conveyors, presses, pumps, motors, gearboxes, or similar manufacturing equipment.
Experience using CMMS or computerized maintenance management systems.
Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule beginning on nights.
Ability to pass a written maintenance assessment covering mechanical, AC/DC electrical, and controls knowledge.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Welding and fabrication experience.
Experience maintaining mixing equipment or industrial presses.
Industrial automation experience.
Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Manufacturing experience within rubber, tires, chemical, food, automotive, or heavy industrial facilities.
Leadership potential with interest in future maintenance supervision opportunities.
