Housekeeping Team Northgate Resorts owns and manages the most awarded Camp‑Resort portfolio in the nation. We create family camping memories that last a lifetime as a passionate, lean, and fast‑moving organization. Our Housekeeping Team includes Cabin Attendants, Inspectors, and Laundry Attendants. The team is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and verifying the cleanliness of the park cabins, lodges, and other company‑owned private guest quarters and all accompanying linens. Positions are seasonal, full‑time or part‑time, and report to the Executive Housekeeper. Cabin Attendants Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the park cabins, lodges, and other company‑owned private guest quarters. Safely maintain assigned housekeeping equipment and supplies Ensure cabins are properly stocked and equipped Remove trash and used linens from the guestrooms to prepare for the housekeeper to clean Set climate control on approved temperature settings Report maintenance issues discovered while cleaning Record location and turn in lost and found items Participate in other projects and activities as assigned Housekeeping Inspectors Responsible for regular inspections of cabins and lodges, verifying cleanliness is at or above brand standards. General Duties Inspect cabins, lodges, and other private guest quarters Ensure cabins are properly stocked and equipped Report maintenance issues or damages discovered while cleaning/inspecting and ensure follow‑through Monitor temperature controls and appliances to ensure all are off or set to proper levels Work with housekeepers to clean all guestrooms Record location and turn in lost and found items Safely maintain assigned housekeeping equipment and supplies Participate in other projects and activities as assigned Administrative Duties Mentor housekeeping staff daily to ensure cleanliness standards and operational efficiencies are met or exceeded; review results of inspections with Cabin Attendants and Housekeepers; coach and drive accountability and performance improvement Use reservation system to properly communicate room status; verify stayovers, report early check‑outs, and communicate issues and discrepancies with the Guest Relations team Laundry Attendants Responsible for all laundry and linens of the park; cleaning and verifying that cleanliness is at or above brand standards. Collect and sort linen into appropriate groups for washing Separate stained linen from other dirty linen and treat according to policy and procedures Transport substantial loads (wet and dry) in terry carts to the laundering area Load and unload washers, dryers, and fold linens to company standards Monitor supplies to ensure the department is well‑stocked and organized; report any shortages to the Manager for re‑ordering Clean appliances and equipment, observe and report maintenance issues discovered while cleaning Track discarded linens and report to Executive Housekeeper for replenishing of stock Record location and turn in lost and found items Participate in other projects and activities as assigned May assist teammates in collecting and delivering soiled linens to the laundry room May assist teammates with cleaning duties Education / Training / Experience Housekeeping experience preferred but not required Qualifications / Requirements Basic computer skills Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment Strong work ethic and a positive attitude Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays Work with minimal supervision Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management Essential Physical Demands Able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to remain in a stationary position Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, etc. Constant exposure to outside weather conditions Northgate provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
