The Licensed Pharmacy Technician will support daily pharmacy operations in a retail setting, working under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. This role involves assisting with medication dispensing, managing inventory, processing prescriptions, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The technician plays a key role in customer service and insurance coordination to provide efficient and accurate pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions
• Manage pharmacy inventory to maintain stock levels
• Process prescriptions and verify patient information
• Provide customer service and address inquiries
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Enter data accurately into pharmacy systems
• Prepare orders and label medications appropriately
• Coordinate with insurance companies for claims and approvals

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in pharmacy operations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license or equivalent certification
• Strong skills in medication dispensing and inventory management
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Proficient in data entry and pharmacy software
