Job Description Field Service Technician - Industrial Robotics Location: Romeo, MI
Compensation: $25-$35+/hour
Travel: Approximately 50% overnight Join a growing industrial automation company seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support robotic equipment throughout the Greater Detroit region. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding industrial robots rather than simply programming them.
Compensation: $25-$35+/hour

- Troubleshoot and repair industrial robotic equipment at customer facilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues involving robots, motors, controls, and related components
- Perform robot teardown, repair, rebuild, and preventative maintenance
- Experience with FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa/Motoman, KUKA, Kawasaki, Nachi, or similar robots preferred
- 2+ years of hands-on robotics, automation, maintenance, or field service experience
- Approximately 50% overnight travel with company vehicle/rental provided
- $25-$35+/hour based on experience, plus overtime, double time on Sundays/holidays, and bonus opportunities
- Must be able to work onsite in Romeo when not traveling and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
