As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Manager with a strong background in both human resources and bookkeeping to oversee our people operations, support financial processes, and contribute to organizational growth.

Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized HR Manager who can independently manage essential HR functions while supporting the company's bookkeeping and financial operations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, payroll administration, HR compliance, and financial recordkeeping.

This is a fully remote, US-based position, with preference given to candidates located in South Florida.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Management

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding.

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation.
\n
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate screening, interviews, hiring, and onboarding.
\n
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment regulations.
\n
• Manage employee performance evaluations, disciplinary processes, and HR-related concerns.
\n
• Oversee payroll coordination, employee benefits administration, and leave management.
\n
• Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, employee retention, and organizational development.
\n
• Support HR initiatives that improve employee engagement, productivity, and operational efficiency.
\n

Bookkeeping & Financial Operations

\n
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile general ledger accounts.
\n
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, and expense tracking.
\n
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate financial documentation.
\n
• Prepare monthly financial reports, expense summaries, and cash flow statements.
\n
• Maintain financial records using QuickBooks Online and other accounting tools.
\n
• Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and expense management.
\n
• Coordinate with external accountants and tax professionals as needed.
\n
• Ensure financial records are organized, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company policies.
\n

Qualifications & Requirements

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
\n
• 5+ years of professional experience in Human Resources, including HR management or supervisory responsibilities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration.
\n
• Strong knowledge of US employment laws, HR compliance, and employee relations.
\n
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace.
\n
• Experience managing payroll, employee records, and financial reporting.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
\n
• Ability to handle confidential employee and financial information with professionalism and discretion.
\n
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a remote environment.
\n
• Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the US.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates residing in South Florida, particularly the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or surrounding areas.
\n
• Experience transitioning accounting systems from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
\n
• Previous experience managing HR and bookkeeping responsibilities within a growing organization.
\n
• Familiarity with HRIS, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and payroll software.
\n
• Experience supporting distributed or international teams.
\n
• Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
\n
• Experience developing scalable HR processes and improving operational efficiency.
\n
