Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN license required Certifications: Required certifications as per specialty Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in Neuro Medical Strokes and Neuro-ortho surgeries Description: Travelers must start on one of the following dates: August 31st September 14th September 28th October 12th October 26th November 9th November 16th December 7th Facility with a total of 355 beds, including various specialized centers. Unit comprises of various types of care, including telemetry and medical patients. Number of beds in specialized unit is 20 with patient ratios of 5:1. Electronic Health Record system utilized is Cerner. Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients. Common diagnoses include stable post-stroke and stable neuro surgery patients. This position does not require call and has no float requirements. Dress code requires scrubs in any color. Personality fit is conducive to a dynamic clinical environment.
