Qualifications:

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist, with specialized training in Interventional Radiology
• Current ARRT certification required
• Valid state license as required by law
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Proven experience operating imaging equipment, particularly in an IR setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist during interventional radiology procedures, maintaining a sterile environment throughout
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging results
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to facilitate safe and effective patient care during procedures
• Safeguard patient confidentiality and adhere to established safety protocols at all times
• Monitor equipment, materials, and supplies, replenishing as necessary for uninterrupted workflow
• Educate patients on procedures, ensuring comfort and answering any questions they may have
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely fashion

$2,686 - $2,842/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
